David Diehl holds a Bachelor of Arts degree with a double major in Psychology and Christianity from Houston Christian University, a Master of Divinity from Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, and a Master of Education in Curriculum & Instruction with a specialization in Instructional Technology from the University of Houston. He holds a Doctor of Education in Curriculum & Instruction from Texas Southern University.

In recent years, David has become a Professional Coach certified by the Institute for Professional Excellence in Coaching (iPEC). He also is an Associate Certified Coach through the International Coaching Federation (ICF), an Emergenetics Certified Associate, and an iPEC Energy Leadership Master Practitioner.

David's life started out modestly and with a large family; he was the third of nine - four girls and five boys. The family struggled to make ends meet. College was never something his parents could consider for their children, yet they were committed to ensuring each child graduated high school. They accomplished their goal. However, David wanted to attend college, so he found his way forward with government grants and loans, church funds, and part-time jobs.

Since entering the ministry in 1976 and through his years as an educator and now professional coach, David has been involved in people development. His passion continues to contribute to bettering the lives of others.
